This Privacy Policy describes how Pausing Point collects, uses, and discloses your personal information and data when you access or use our Services through our website, mobile application, contact our customer service team, engage with us on social media, or otherwise interact with us.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy. We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access our Services or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the choices available to you.
1. Data we may collect
We may collect and process the following data about you:
- Personal data including, for example, your name, e-mail address, password, and in certain instances, telephone number, images, videos, data about your usage of the Products, data you provide in connection with your usage of the Products, and data collected by tracking technologies as further described in section 9 below that may identify you as an individual or allow online contact with you as an individual.
- Pausing Point does not collect or process credit or debit card (“Payment Card”) data. Apple and Google collect Payment Card data with respect to in-app purchases made through the Apps. Such payment processors generally provide us with some limited data related to you, such as a unique, anonymous token that enables you to make additional purchases using the data they’ve stored, and your card’s type, expiration date, billing address, and the last four digits of your card number.
- For individuals using the Services in connection with a corporate client account as described in section 6, business data such as your company name, and company email address to the extent that you or your company provides such data.
- Device information such as the hardware model, operating system and version, device identifiers set by your device operating system, and mobile network information (like your connection type, carrier and region).
- Standard log files when you use our Services, which include the type of web browser you use, app version, access times and dates, pages viewed, your IP address, and the page you visited before navigating to our websites.
- Data collected via tracking technologies, as fully described in section 9.
- We may obtain information about you from publicly available sources, marketing and advertising partners, consumer research platforms, and/or business contact databases.
- All the information you need to fill in the open text fields during account registration is mandatory. Any failure to complete that information or any response Pausing Point considers abnormal may result in Pausing Point refusing (or being unable) to process your request. You agree that the personal data you provide about yourself to Pausing Point will be current, accurate, complete and unequivocal.
2. Use of your data
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain and improve our Services, including debugging to identify and repair errors, and developing new products and services.

If you feel your transaction was declined in error, please contact us for assistance at contact@pausingpoint.com.
3. Security and sharing of data
The security of your personal data is important to us. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal data submitted to us, both during transmission and once it is received.

This includes exchanging data with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
- If we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, if we believe you have violated the law, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Pausing Point or others.
- In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company.
- Between and among Pausing Point and our current and future parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and other companies under common control and ownership.
- With your consent or at your direction. For instance, you may choose to share actions you take on our Services with third-party social media services via the integrated tools we provide via our Services.

If you inform us that you wish to cancel email promotional materials by selecting “unsubscribe” at the bottom of such communication or by emailing us at contact@pausingpoint.com, we will remove you from our mailing list. Please be advised that if you opt-out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations that are required to provide you with our Services.
With your consent, we send promotional and other push notifications to your mobile device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your mobile device.

Sometimes corporations, governments, hospitals, universities and other organisations and groups (“Partner(s)”) wish to make Pausing Point available to their members, employees and their families, patients, customers, residents or others. For example, employers may offer their employees and their families access to Pausing Point and brands that promote wellness may wish to offer Pausing Point through their loyalty programs. If you have registered to use our Services through a code, credential, or other means of registration furnished by a Partner, the Partner may have access to your name, email address, the date you registered to use the Services, and the date on which you last used the Services.
7. How the data is stored
All data you provide to us through our Services is stored on secure servers located in France (Europe). We ask you not to share a password with anyone and suggest that you change your password frequently.
Unfortunately, the transmission of data via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Products; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your data, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
We retain personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed unless applicable law requires storage for a longer period of time.
